Transforming Maternal and Child Health
Our vision is to eliminate micronutrient deficiencies
Micronutrient deficiencies can have devastating effects across numerous clinical groups, with maternal, infant, child and elderly populations most at risk.
Globally, micronutrient deficiencies have a huge economic and social burden, particularly in low-middle income countries where rates are high.
Traditional micronutrient testing requires a relatively large volume of blood to be sent to a central lab. This results in tests being slow, invasive, but also costly.
Point-of-care micronutrient testing
Our innovative point-of-care test with integrated blood-collection simplifies the identification of numerous micronutrient deficiencies. With just a push of a button, we are making testing of key deficiency markers accessible.
-
Accurate testing outside of a lab, allowing for deficiency tests during a home visit by a healthcare professional, or for self-testing in adults
-
With our patent pending technology, we can make sample collection and testing extremely simple, at the push of a button.
-
Conventional blood collection for micronutrient deficiencies can be invasive and uncomfortable. Our innovative, low-volume test using capillary blood collection, changes that, making it easier and more comfortable for children, as well as adults.
Using macro-testing data to combat deficiencies
Reducing health inequalities caused by deprivation through targeted resource allocation for healthcare providers
Macro-data allows us to predict individual and population baselines and clinical deficiency levels, across multiple risk factors
Testing for micronutrient deficiencies empowers and educates, boosting supplement compliance
Our at-home technology will allow for real-time data collection to understand and track micronutrient levels in diverse populations
